Frequently asked questions
Why wouldn’t I just hire a full-time designer?
First off, hiring a full-time senior designer costs over $100,000 a year, plus benefits. And it’s not easy to find one available. Plus, you might not always have enough work to keep them busy, meaning you’re paying for their time even when they’re not working. With the monthly plan, you can stop and start your subscription whenever you need. This way, you only pay your designer when you actually have work for them.
Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?
After subscribing, you can add as many design requests to your queue as you want, and they’ll be delivered one at a time.
How fast will I receive my designs?
Usually, most requests are finished within two days or less. However, complex requests may require additional time.
Who are the designers?
Werkt is an agency of nine designers. This means you’ll work directly with us at Werkt. However, power-ups requests such as animations or custom illustrations are provided by partner designers.
How does the pause feature work?
We get it, you might not always have enough design work for a whole month. Maybe you only have one or two requests right now. That’s where pausing your subscription helps.
Our billing cycles run for 31 days. For example, if you use our service for 21 days and then pause your subscription, the billing cycle stops. You’ll have 10 days of service left to use whenever you need them later on.
What programs do you design in?
Most requests are designed using Figma. However, we also use the Adobe Creative Suite.
How do I request designs?
Werkt gives you lots of options for requesting designs through Trello. Clients usually ask for designs by adding them directly to Trello, sharing Google docs or wireframes, or even recording a brief Loom video instead of writing out their briefs. Basically, if you can link to it or share it in Trello, it works.
What if I don’t like the design?
No worries! We’ll continue to revise the design until you’re 100% satisfied.
Is there any design work you don’t cover?
Certainly. Werkt doesn’t handle these types of design work: 3D modeling, ocument design (such as medical forms), and complex packaging.
What if I only have a single request?
No problem. Feel free to pause your subscription once you’re done, and you can come back whenever you have more design needs. Don’t worry about wasting the rest of your subscription.
Are there any refunds if I don’t like the service?
Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.
